Fortress Wood provides a diverse selection of building code compliant preservative treatments for wood used in building decks, fences, boardwalks, outdoor stairways, gazebos, and landscaping projects.

 

FEATURING PRESERVATIVES MCA, MCQ AND ACQ

Preservative treatments are available for Above Ground, Ground Contact, and Heavy Retention applications.  Treated wood products are available in Kiln Dried After Treatment (KDAT) upon request.

 

MICROPRO® - OMICRONIZED COPPER PRESERVATIVE TECHNOLOGY

MicroPro® treated wood products are available for above ground, ground contact and fresh water contact applications for projects such as decks, fences and landscaping.  Wood products treated with MicroPro are available in either MCA (Micronized Copper Azole) or MCQ (Micronized Copper Quat).  The MicroPro wood preservative process offers many consumer benefits that include:  third party environmental certifications, better corrosion resistance for code approved fasteners and hardware, direct aluminum contact, and better painting and staining qualities.

 

NATUREWOOD® - ACQ PRESERVATIVE

NatureWood® ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) treated wood products are available for above ground, ground contact and fresh water contact applications for projects such as decks, fences and landscaping.

Fortress offers a selection of treated wood products for commercial and industrial uses.

 

DRICON FIRE RETARDANT

Fortress is licensed to produce Dricon® brand fire retardant treated wood used in both single and multi family residential, commercial, and industrial applications where fire rated wall and roof systems are desired. Fortress fire retardant treated products are type a classified and building code compliant and carry the best warranty in the industry.

All standard grades and sizes of lumber and plywood are available.

 

CCA (Copper Chromated Arsenate)
PRESERVATIVE TREATED WOOD PRODUCTS

Highway, Commercial and Agricultural Treated Wood Products
Fortress Wood has a number of CCA treated lumber and timber products for use in approved highway construction, commercial and agricultural use applications.

 

Marine Use
Preservative treatments are available for treated wood used in saltwater splash, saltwater immersion, seawall, and marine construction applications. Our marine treated wood products are building code compliant for docks, piers and bulkheads. Fortress Wood marine products are compliant with AWPA Use Standards UC4C, UC5A and UC5B.
